(Las Vegas, NV) — The puck drops for the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday. The Golden Knights host the Panthers in Las Vegas for Game One in the best of seven series. The number-1 seed in the Western Conference beat the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars on its way to the final. Florida squeaked into the playoffs as the last team in the Eastern Conference and dispatched the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes on its road to the Stanley Cup Final. Neither team has won a cup in their history. The Golden Knights made one cup final appearance in 2018 and lost to the Washington Capitals while the Panthers went to the cup in 1996 and fell to the Colorado Avalanche.
