Gray, Twins Silence Yankees

(Minneapolis, MN) — Sonny Gray was nearly unhittable during the Twins’ 6-1 win over the Yankees at Target Field. Gray improved to 3-and-0 after striking out eight and giving up just three hits over seven scoreless innings. Joey Gallo launched his sixth home run of the season, and Jorge Polanco went two-for-five with three RBI. The Twins have won their last two games, and they’re in first place in the AL Central at 13-and-10. Minnesota sends Joe Ryan to the mound against the Yankees tonight.
