(Warroad, MN) — A Minnesota hockey legend has passed away. Henry Boucha died at the age of 72 on Monday. The Minnesota Wild posted a tribute to Boucha, writing “RIP to the legend of Warroad.” He helped lead Warroad High School to the state finals in 1969, where they lost by one goal, and went on to win a silver medal in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Boucha played for the Detroit Red Wings and the Minnesota North Stars before sustaining a career-ending eye injury.
