Lewis Leads Twins Past Astros In Return

(Houston, TX) — Royce Lewis wasted no time getting re-acclimated to Major League pitching as his Twins beat the Astros 7-5 in ten innings in Houston. Lewis hit a three-run home run in his second MLB at-bat since tearing his ACL last year, and he added a game-tying single with two outs in the top of the second. Ryan Jeffers crushed a two-run shot in the top of the tenth to give Minnesota the lead for good, and Jhoan Duran earned his first win in relief after tossing the last two innings of the contest. The Twins have won two of three, and they remain in first place in the AL Central at 28-and-26. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against the Astros tonight.
