(Oakland, CA) — Pablo Lopez sliced up the Athletics’ lineup as the Minnesota Twins beat Oakland 3-0 at Oakland Coliseum. Lopez earned his seventh win after striking out 14 and allowing just two hits over eight scoreless innings. Byron Buxton opened up the scoring with a solo home run in the second, and he added an RBI double in the seventh. Griffin Jax picked up his seventh save as the Twins moved up to second place in the AL Central at 43-and-35. The Twins visit the Diamondbacks tomorrow night.
