Lynx Take Down Mystics

(Washington, DC) — The Minnesota Lynx finally picked up their first victory with an 80-78 win over the Washington Mystics at Entertainment and Sports Arena on Saturday. The Lynx nearly blew a 12-point fourth quarter lead, but Tiffany Mitchell scored a go-ahead put-back with under three-seconds left in regulation to give Minnesota the win. Kayla McBride scored 24 points to lead the Lynx, while Napheesa Collier added 17. The Lynx are in 11th place in the WNBA at 1-and-6. They visit the Liberty on Wednesday.
