(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins weren’t able to complete a three-game sweep of the Yankees after a 12-6 loss at Target Field. Kenta Maeda lasted just three innings and gave up ten runs on 11 hits to fall to 0-and-4. Jose Miranda hit two home runs in the losing effort, while Joey Gallo also went yard. The Twins are still in first place in the AL Central at 14-and-11. Tyler Mahle starts for Minnesota against the Kansas City Royals at home tonight.
