(Undated) — Three-time Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander is going back to Houston. The Astros acquired the right-hander and cash considerations from the New York Mets in exchange for minor league outfielders Drew Gilbert and Ryan Clifford. The 40-year-old signed a two-year deal worth more than 86-million-dollars with the Mets this past offseason after six years in Houston. Verlander is 6-and-5 with a 3.15 ERA this season. The Mets also traded right-hander Max Scherzer to the Texas Rangers before the deadline.
