Michigan Expected To Offer OC Moore Head Coaching Job

(Ann Arbor, MI) — The national champion Michigan Wolverines are moving quickly to find their replacement for Jim Harbaugh. ESPN reports UM is expected to offer offensive coordinator/O-line coach Sherrone Moore their now vacant head coaching job. Harbaugh was named the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday. He leaves Ann Arbor after nine seasons and fresh off a national championship, Michigan’s first since sharing the 1997 title with Nebraska. The 37-year-old Moore filled in for Harbaugh during his four-game suspension this past season. He has been with the program for six seasons, adding OC duties in 2023.
