(Dallas, TX) — One of the greatest Dallas Cowboys to ever take the field is dead. Larry Allen was 52-years old. The team says he died while on vacation with his family in Mexico. Allen played 12 seasons with the Cowboys, winning a Super Bowl in 1996. There were also two years where he played for the San Fransisco 49ers before retiring in 2009. Allen was an eleven-time Pro Bowler and was named to the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team. In 2011, he was added to the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.
