(Vermillion, SD) — Another big weekend of college football for the Dakotas is on tap with a top five matchup and a potential three-way tie on the line in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Fourth-ranked South Dakota will host number one ranked North Dakota State at the Dakota Dome on Saturday. South Dakota enters the final week of the regular season with a six-and-one record in conference play while NDSU enters undefeated on the season. A win for the Coyotes on Saturday would give them a share of the MVC conference title.
Meanwhile, South Dakota State travels to Missouri State tomorrow and both teams enter the game with six-and-one conference marks. The winner of that game would also claim a share of the conference title if South Dakota is able to snap North Dakota State’s ten-game winning streak.
In other action, North Dakota travels to 13th ranked Illinois State. UND comes into the game at 5-6 overall with a 2-5 conference record. The FCS Playoffs begin next weekend.
