North Dakota State Basketball Adds Patrick Bath

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball program has added transfer forward Patrick Bath, NDSU head coach David Richman announced Friday, May 17.

Bath comes to NDSU from Drake University, where he redshirted as a freshman in the 2023-24 season for the Missouri Valley Conference champions. The 6-foot-9 forward has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Bath is originally from Fargo, but attended high school and graduated from Totino-Grace in Fridley, Minn. He helped Totino-Grace win back-to-back Minnesota Class AAA state championships, averaging 16.4 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior in 2022-23.

“We are thrilled to welcome Patrick and his family back to the F-M area and into our Bison Family,” Richman said. “Pat’s combination of size, athleticism, skill, and motor provide a great fit to our already versatile roster. His best basketball is directly ahead of him.”

With seven returning players, three high school signees, and five incoming transfers, the NDSU roster for the 2024-25 season now stands at 15.
