(Sioux Falls, SD)– Eighth seeded Oral Roberts defeated ninth seeded South Dakota to open the first round of Summit League Men’s Tournament play on Friday night.
Issac McBride had 23 points in the 77-62 victory for Oral Roberts while Kaleb Stewart led South Dakota with 18 points and six assists. Oral Roberts now advances to face top seed South Dakota State on Saturday in the Summit League Quarterfinal Round at the Denny Samford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.
Denver takes on Kansas City in the other quarterfinal matchup tonight in the men’s tournament as well.
On the women’s side in Summit League tournament play, North Dakota State will face Denver and South Dakota State will take on Omaha this afternoon. Both of those games as well are at the Denny Samford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.
