(Undated) — The top three teams in college basketball remain unchanged according to the first coaches poll of 2024. Purdue, Kansas and Houston are once again leading the way. UConn is up one spot and Tennessee rose two spots to round out the top five.
Kentucky took the biggest jump in the poll, rising four spots to six. Arizona dropped six spots and is now ranked 10th in the nation. FAU suffered the biggest drop, falling 11 spots from sixth to 17th. Auburn is making its first appearance in the poll. The Tigers are ranked 24th. Creighton is the only school that was left out of this week’s top 25.
In college basketball action tonight, North Dakota hosts Northern Colorado, North Dakota State welcomes Montana, South Dakota is at home against Eastern Washington, and South Dakota State visits Weber State.
