(Undated) — The Chargers are looking into adding a big name as they continue their search for a new head coach. ESPN reports that Los Angeles is set to be the first NFL team to interview Jim Harbaugh about their head coaching vacancy. The Michigan head coach has connections to the Chargers and owner Dean Spanos after finishing his playing career with the franchise in 2000. Harbaugh went 44-19-and-1 in four seasons as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-to-2014 before returning to the college ranks. The Chargers are looking for a new head coach and general manager after firing Brandon Staley and Tom Telesco from their roles in December.
