Report: Fan Keeps Ohtani’s 50th HR Ball

(Miami, FL) — There’s a chance that Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani will not get his 50-50 baseball. Ohtani made Major League Baseball history Thursday with a historic performance in the Dodgers’ 20-4 win over the Miami Marlins. He had both his 50th home run and 50th stolen base in the game, becoming the first Major Leaguer to reach both milestones in the same season.
Sports radio host Craig Mish posted that the fan who caught the 50th home run ball “opted to walk away with it.” Ohtani had six hits and ten runs batted in on the night, and also became the first Major Leaguer with three home runs and two stolen bases in the same game.
