(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys will not be making a head coaching change this offseason. ESPN reports that Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy is returning to the team for the 2024 season. McCarthy is entering the final year of his contract after leading the Cowboys to their third straight playoff appearance. The 60-year-old has led the Cowboys to a combined 42-and-25 record in his four seasons in Dallas. McCarthy’s job became a hot topic when Dallas fell to 1-and-3 in the playoffs under his leadership following a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card round last week.
