Report: Steelers Sign Russell Wilson

(Pittsburgh, PA) — The Steelers have found their next quarterback. ESPN reports Russell Wilson plans to sign with Pittsburgh when the new league year begins on Wednesday. The Super Bowl winning quarterback will sign a “team-friendly” deal after the Broncos released him last week. Denver is on the hook for 38-million-dollars of Wilson’s salary next season. The Steelers are turning to the 35-year-old after getting poor quarterback production last season from Kenny Pickett, Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph. Wilson finished last year with 3,070 passing yards to go with 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
