Pro Football Talk is reporting that Minnesota is one of the teams that called the San Francisco 49ers discussing a potential trade for Trey Lance. Minnesota already has Kirk Cousins under contract, but his deal expires at the end of 2023. Lance completed just over 48 percent of his passes for 194 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception before suffering a season-ending injury in the second game of the season last year.
