SDSU, USD and NDSU All Advance in FCS Playoffs

(Fargo, ND) — South Dakota State, South Dakota and North Dakota State are all moving on in the FCS Playoffs with two of those teams now set to face each other next weekend.

The SDSU Jackrabbits beat Mercer on Saturday 41-0 while the USD Coyotes beat Sacramento State 34-24. It’s the first time both schools won FCS Playoff games on the same day. Meantime, North Dakota State edged Montana State 35-34 on the road in Bozeman this past Saturday.

NDSU’s win sets up a showdown with the number three-seed Coyotes on Saturday at the DakotaDome in Vermillion. The top seed SDSU will host number 8 Villanova on ESPN at 11 a.m. this Saturday.
