(Brookings, SD) — Summit League women’s soccer champion South Dakota State is headed to the NCAA Tournament. The Jackrabbits head to Minneapolis on Friday to take on sixth-seeded Minnesota in the first round. SDSU won their second-straight league championship on Sunday and the NCAA Tournament bracket was announced yesterday. The Jackrabbits are making their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance and facing Minnesota in the tournament for the third time. South Dakota State lost both post-season meetings against the Golden Gophers, but the Jackrabbits did win the last regular season meeting between the two teams in 2019. Friday’s kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
