Atlanta Falcons Fire Arthur Smith
(Undated) — The Falcons are wasting no time on Black Monday after firing head coach Arthur Smith. Atlanta finished 7-and-10 for the third straight season under Smith, after he was hired on January 15th, 2021. He was previously an assistant coach with Tennessee and Washington. The search for a new head coach of the Falcons will begin immediately. It will be led by owner and chairman Arthur Blank and CEO Rich McKay, with general manager Terry Fontenot providing input. There is no timetable for filling the role.
