(Los Angeles, CA) — The Timberwolves choked away a 15-point third quarter lead during their 108-102 overtime loss to the Lakers in a play-in game in L.A. The Wolves didn’t get a bucket from the field in the final six minutes of regulation, but Mike Conley was able to hit three free throws with a fraction of a second left to send the game to OT. Minnesota scored just four points in the extra frame. The Timberwolves will host the winner of tonight’s game between the Thunder and the Pelicans in a must-win game on Friday.
