Timberwolves Lose In Game Two

(Denver, CO) — The Timberwolves rallied back from a 21-point deficit but still lost to the Denver Nuggets 122-113 in Game Two of the first round at Ball Arena. Minnesota outscored Denver 40-23 in the third quarter, but the Nuggets took control in the final frame. Anthony Edwards scored 41 points in a dominant performance, but Karl-Anthony Towns went just three-for-12 from the field to finish with ten points. The Wolves trail two-games-to-none in the best-of-seven series. Game Three is tomorrow in Minneapolis.
