Timberwolves Save Face With Overtime Win

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves averted disaster with a strong overtime in Game Four of the NBA Playoffs. Minnesota stayed alive in its first round series with a 114-108 overtime win over Denver at the Target Center. Minnesota led by 12 late in the fourth quarter before the Nuggets went on a 12-0 run to force the extra frame. Anthony Edwards poured in 34 points, including a big three-point shot in the final minute of OT. Mike Conley Jr. chipped in with 19 points and eight assists. Minnesota avoided the four-game sweep and cut the Nuggets’ series lead to three-games-to-one. The series shifts back to the Mile High City for Game Five tomorrow.
