Twins Come Back To Beat Guardians

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins overcame a three-run deficit in the final two innings to beat the Cleveland Guardians 7-6 at Target Field. The Twins took an early 3-1 lead before giving up five runs in the top of the sixth. However, Donovan Solano hit an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth, and Royce Lewis tied the game with his second home run of the season. Willi Castro hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to give Minnesota the victory. Griffin Jax earned his third win in relief as the Twins picked up their third win in their last four games. Minnesota is in first place in the AL Central at 30-and-27. Bailey Ober starts for Minnesota against Cleveland tonight.
