(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins overcame an early four-run deficit during a 7-6 win over the Kansas City Royals at Target Field. Ryan Jeffers hit a pair of home runs to bring the Twins within a run heading into the bottom of the sixth. Max Kepler tied the game with a single, and Carlos Correa gave Minnesota the lead with a three-run triple. Caleb Thielbar earned his second win in relief, and Jhoan Duran picked up his ninth save. The Twins took three of four in the series and remain in third place in the AL Central at 31-and-25. Minnesota sends Pablo Lopez to the mound against Houston tonight.
