Twins Crush Astros

(Houston, TX) — The Twins took the rubber match of their three-game series against the Houston Astros with an 8-2 win at Minute Maid Park. Minnesota chipped away with three runs in the top of third and a pair of runs in each the fifth and sixth innings. Donovan Solano went two-for-four with four RBI in the victory, and Louie Varland held Houston to four hits over seven scoreless innings to earn his third win. The Twins remain in first place in the AL Central at 29-and-27. Pablo Lopez starts for the Twins against Cleveland tonight.
