Twins Get Blanked By Yankees

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins were shutout for the second game in a row during a 5-0 loss to the New York Yankees at Target Field. The Twins gave up three runs in the first inning and managed just three hits during the loss. Joe Ryan was charged with his third loss after surrendering four runs on six hits in five-and-a-third innings. The Twins only scored one run in the three-game series against the Yankees, and it came in the first inning of game one. Minnesota remains in third place in the AL Central at 24-and-19. The Twins send Simeon Woods Richardson to the mound against the Guardians tonight.
