Donovan Solano hit a two-run single in the top of the seventh to break a 1-1 tie, and Jhoan Duran worked around a one-out solo home run in the ninth to lock down his 18th save. Pablo Lopez earned his sixth win after giving up one run on four hits in six innings of work. Minnesota has a two-game lead over Cleveland in the AL Central. Tyler O’Neill went deep in the losing effort. Miles Mikolas was charged with his seventh loss after surrendering three runs, two earned, in seven innings. The Cards have dropped four of five.
