Twins Lose Fourth Straight, Fall to Dodgers at Home

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are on a four-game losing streak following a 6-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Target Field.

Louie Varland gave up a pair of three-run home runs and was charged with the loss after surrendering six runs on seven hits in five innings. Ryan Jeffers and Carlos Correa both went deep in the losing effort. The 3-and-6 Twins send Chris Paddack to the mound against the Dodgers this afternoon.

In other team news, the Twins traded for reliever Michael Tonkin and placed Max Kepler on the injured list yesterday.
