Twins Lose Third Straight Game

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins are on a three-game losing streak following a 6-1 loss to the San Diego Padres at Target Field. The game was tied at one in the top of the seventh, but the Padres scored on a squeeze bunt and added another run on a throwing error by Christian Vazquez. Jose Miranda drove in Minnesota’s only run, and Griffin Jax was charged with the loss in relief. The Twins are in first place in the AL Central at 19-and-17. Pablo Lopez starts for Minnesota against the Padres tonight.
