Twins Rally Past Tigers Late

(Detroit, MI) — The Twins scored three runs in the top of the tenth inning during a 6-3 win over the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Minnesota trailed by one entering the eighth inning, but the Twins tied the game when Royce Lewis scored on a throwing error by Nick Maton. Lewis, Willi Castro, and Christian Vazquez all had an RBI single in the tenth to give Minnesota the victory. Griffin Jax earned his fourth win in relief, and Jhoan Duran picked up his 11th save. Minnesota has won four of five and remains in first place in the AL Central at 40-and-39. Sonny Gray starts for the Twins against the Braves tonight.
