Twins Shut Down Dodgers

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Twins earned their first win over the Dodgers since 2011 with a 5-1 victory at Dodger Stadium. Kyle Farmer had an RBI single in the top of the first inning, and the Twins led the rest of the way. Farmer finished the game with a home run and three RBI, while Ryan Jeffers and Willi Castro also drove in runs. Bailey Ober improved to 3-and-0 after holding Los Angeles to one run on six hits in six innings. The Twins have won three of four. Sonny Gray starts for the Twins in the rubber match against Los Angeles this afternoon.
