Twins Shut Out Red Sox In Finale

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins split their four-game series after shutting out the Red Sox 6-0 in their finale at Target Field. Joe Ryan earned the win after striking out nine batters in a complete-game three-hit shutout. Byron Buxton went two-for-four with a pair of mammoth solo homers. Carlos Correa also went deep in the win for Minnesota, which is leading the AL Central at 38-and-38. Kenta Maeda takes the mound for the Twins against Detroit tonight. In other club news, Minnesota inked 2015 AL Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel to a minor league deal yesterday.
