(St. Petersburg, FL) — The Twins held on for a 4-3 victory over the Rays to split their four-game series at Tropicana Field. Pablo Lopez was credited with the win after striking out nine batters and allowing three runs over six and two-thirds innings. Jhoan Duran secured his 22nd save of the season after striking out two in a scoreless bottom of the ninth. Edouard Julien slugged a three-run bomb and Matt Wallner also went deep with a solo shot. Minnesota is still in second place in the AL Central at 76-and-64. Zebby Matthews starts for the Twins against Kansas City tonight.
