Twins Take Rubber Match From White Sox

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins pitching staff had another strong showing on the mound during a 3-1 win over the White Sox at Target Field. Sonny Gray tossed five scoreless innings to improve to 2-and-0. Michael A. Taylor drove in a pair of runs in the victory, but Minnesota lost Kyle Farmer and Byron Buxton to injuries during the game. The Twins have won their last two and they lead the AL Central at 8-and-4. Minnesota sends Joe Ryan to the mound against the Yankees in the Bronx tonight.
