Twins Win Thriller Over Mariners

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins walked-off the Seattle Mariners in a 4-3, ten-inning win at Target Field. Seattle trailed by a run in the top of the ninth before Kolten Wong hit a two-out, go-ahead home run, but the Twins tied the game on an RBI double from Max Kepler in the next half-inning. Carlos Correa drove in the game-winning run on a single in the tenth. Jorge Lopez earned his fourth win in relief, and the Twins are now 9-and-2 since the All-Star break. Minnesota extended its AL Central lead over Cleveland to four games with a 54-and-48 record. Pablo Lopez starts for Minnesota against the Mariners tonight.
