UND Running Back Signs Free Agent Deal With Chargers

(Grand Forks, ND) — Though his name wasn’t called in the NFL Draft, a UND running back is getting his chance in the NFL. Tyler Hoosman is one of 18 undrafted hopefuls to agree to terms with the LA Chargers as a priority free agent. Hoosman transferred to UND in 2022 and immediately climbed into the record books, tallying one-thousand-23 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. Those totals put him 8th in career rushing TDs and 3rd in single-season rushing yardage in UND’s D-1 history.
