Vikings Plan To Release Dalvin Cook

(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings are moving on from their star running back. ESPN reports Dalvin Cook is going to be released by the team. Adam Schefter says the Miami Dolphins are expected to be a landing spot for Cook. The 27-year-old was going to make just over 14-million-dollars against the cap this season. He was selected by Minnesota in round two of the 2017 draft. The four-time Pro Bowler rushed for just under six-thousand yards and 47 touchdowns in six seasons with the Vikings. He ran for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games last year. Alexander Mattison is expected to take over as Minnesota’s starting running back.
