Vikings TE Ellefson Retires

(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings are unexpectedly losing some tight end depth. 26-year-old Ben Ellefson announced yesterday that he is retiring from the NFL. The Minnesota-native cited injuries played a significant role in his decision to step away. Ellefson spent the past two seasons with Minnesota. He caught three passes for 26 yards last season. In other Vikings news, the team is working out XFL quarterback Jordan Ta’amu this weekend. Ta’amu was the XFL’s player of the year.
