(San Francisco, CA) — The NBA is suspending Draymond Green for stepping on the chest of Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis. The league announced on Tuesday that the Warriors forward will be suspended for Game Three of Golden State’s first round playoff series. The release specified that Green’s suspension was “based in part on [his] history of unsportsmanlike acts.” The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of Monday’s game after Sabonis slipped and grabbed Green’s leg, which led to Green stomping on his chest. Green was ejected from the game. Sacramento currently leads the series 2-0 over the defending NBA champions.
