(Washington, DC) — It appears the Washington Commanders are close to having new owners. Dan Snyder has reportedly accepted a preliminary deal to sell the football team for a record price of just over six-billion dollars. The agreement is with billionaire Josh Harris, co-owner of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, and businessman Mitchell Rales. Former NBA great Magic Johnson also is an investor in the group. A contract still needs to be signed and receive NFL approval.
