Wild Beat Penguins

(St. Paul, MN) — Marc-Andre Fleury had a strong showing against his former team as the Minnesota Wild beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 at the Xcel Energy Center on Friday. Fleury made 34 saves in the game, including 14 in the final period. Kirill Kaprizov scored in the middle of the third to put Minnesota up for good. Jonas Brodin and Matt Boldy also lit the lamp in the victory. The Wild are in sixth place in the Central Division with 51 points and a 23-23-and-5 record. They visit the Golden Knights tonight.
