Wild Lose Series Against Stars

(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild’s season came to an end in St. Paul on Friday night. The Wild failed to show up in a 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars in Game Six of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild gave up three goals before Freddy Gaudreau was finally able to get the team on the board late in the third period, but Dallas put the final nail in the coffin when Max Domi scored an empty-netter in the final minute. Minnesota lost the best-of-seven series four-games-to-two. The Wild haven’t won a first round series since 2015.
