Wild Replace Evason With Hynes

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild moving on from head coach Dean Evason. The team fired both Evason and assistant Bob Woods yesterday. The move came amidst a seven-game losing streak for the Wild. Evason took over the team at the end of the 2019-20 season, and he led the team to the playoffs in all four of his seasons at the helm. The Wild also announced that former Predators head coach John Hynes will replace Evason. Hynes took Nashville to the playoffs in three of his four seasons with the team, and he was with the Devils for five seasons before that.
