(Arlington, TX) — Two more players have thrown their hat in the ring of the Home Run Derby. On Monday, Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna each announced that they will be competing in this year’s Home Run Derby in Arlington. This will be the first time Witt is participating and the third time in the career of Ozuna. Other confirmed entries include Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm, Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson and New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso. The event will be held on July 15th.
