Women’s Final Four Set

(Undated) — Caitlin Clark and Iowa women’s basketball are headed back to the Final Four after taking down LSU 94-87 on Monday in a rematch of last year’s title game. Clark had a whopping 41 points in addition to 12 assists and seven rebounds as the Hawkeyes were able to avenge the loss they suffered in the 2023 final. With the Tigers loss, the streak of NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournaments without a repeat champion reaches seven. Meanwhile, Paige Bueckers led UConn with 28 points as the Huskies beat USC 80-73 to advance to their first Final Four in two years. UConn will face Iowa on Friday in the Final Four nightcap. South Carolina and North Carolina State begin Friday’s action in Cleveland.
