(Bronx, NY) — The Yankees extended their winning streak to seven games after rolling past the Twins 9-5 in the Bronx. Carlos Rodon earned the victory after striking out nine batters and allowing two runs over six innings. Aaron Judge went one for three with a three-run triple and five RBI. Gleyber Torres also drove in a pair of runs. New York is now 44-and-19.
Chris Paddack was tagged with the loss after allowing seven runs on six hits over four innings of work. Carlos Santana and Royce Lewis each went deep for Minnesota, which is now 33-and-28. Lewis became the first player in franchise history to go deep in each of his first three games of a season.
The Twins will try to avoid the three-game sweep tonight.
