New South Dakota Laws Take Effect Today

(Pierre, SD) — Today is the first day for several new South Dakota laws. Over two hundred are going into effect after a busy legislative session this year. A few of the notable bills are ten-million dollars in airport funding, a new legal newspaper for Sioux Falls, and trap, neuter, release. There were 26 new laws declared an emergency by Governor Noem that went into effect once she signed them earlier this year.
